T&C s~Placing an order signifies that you agree to our terms and conditions of sale. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.
1. GeneralThese conditions of sale ("the conditions") supplied by Kettlewood Ltd ("The Company") of 1 The Granary, Withgill Fold, Clitheroe, Lancs BB7 3LW. ("The Company's Address") to a purchaser ("The Buyer") shall be incorporated into each contract ("the contract") made by the company for the sales of the company’s goods ("the Goods"). The company contracts upon such terms as are agreed between the Company and the Buyer.
2. Carriage and PackagingThe prices stated do not include delivery. The delivery costs can be viewed prior to ordering by following the link on each page, or by clicking information>delivery.
3. PriceAll prices shall be as stated by the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any discounts or "special offers" displayed will only be applicable at time of display.
All prices stated on the site include VAT. This includes any delivery charges. Our VAT registration number is 923 7477 04.
4. PaymentWe accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa debit and Maestro cards. If you already have a Paypal account, you can choose to pay via express checkout. If you don't have a credit or debit card, you can pay with a direct bank to bank transfer or alternatively a cheque. You will need to contact us prior to paying if you wish to use either of the last two options. If you order directly from the website, full payment will be taken at the time of order. Alternatively, if you pay by phone then we will ask for a 30% deposit upon placing the order and the remainder is payable only when your furniture is ready for dispatch. Your complete order will only be dispatched once we receive the full amount of the outstanding balance. We do not make split deliveries.
Kettlewood will only deliver to the registered address of the cardholder. If a different address is required, this has to be notified to us at the time of placing the order.
5. Delivery, Examination and ClaimsThe company will use its best endeavours to complete delivery on or before any delivery dates requested by the Buyer or estimated by the Company. If delivery is not possible within the specified time, the Buyer will have the option of a full refund and cancellation of the order. The Company will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.
If the Company cannot complete delivery due to discontinuation of goods then any sum paid by the Buyer will be refunded and the Seller will notify the Buyer at the address given on the order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of order. The Company will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.
The buyer shall accept mutually arranged delivery. If you are not at home for a pre-arranged delivery then we reserve the right to apply a second delivery charge to redeliver your order. If you wish to change the delivery date once it is agreed then please give us no less than 48 hours notice prior to delivery.
The buyer shall upon delivery examine the Goods and shall promptly (in any event within 14 days of delivery) notify in writing the Company, where appropriate, of any apparent damage, defect or shortages. The contract shall be deemed to have been completed as soon as the furniture has been delivered, at which point the risk of damage or loss of the product shall pass to the buyer.
6. Cancellation & ReturnsOnce your furniture has been delivered Kettlewood offers a no quibble 7 day return policy. If for any reason you decide that you do not want to keep all or some of your furniture then please confirm to us in writing via e-mail or letter within 7 working days. We will ensure you receive a full refund including any delivery costs within 30 days. If you do cancel some or all of your furniture, it is the buyers responsibility to return the goods to Kettlewood's premises within 14 days. You can make and pay for the arrangements yourself or ask Kettlewood to make the collection. Kettlewood will charge the actual cost to make the collection. This charge will be deducted from your refund. In the event of furniture being returned, Kettlewood expect the customer to take a 'reasonable duty of care' while the furniture is still in your care. Kettlewood will only accept the return / collection if the goods are properly packaged in their undamaged original packaging. For self assembly items to be returned, such as a bed, they must be in their original packaging and cannot be returned once assembled or part assembly has taken place.
This does not apply to items made to the customers own specifications.
If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where repair is not economically viable no refund will be made. Refunds can only be made by the same method used for the purchase.
8. DescriptionsAll drawings, descriptions, illustrations, weight and dimensions given in the Company’s website, price lists or other advertising matter are approximate and intended for general guidance purposes only. They may be subject to change without prior notice to the Buyer.
